-The feature game on Staurday night was the VISL Game Of The Week in Ladysmith.
It had division leader Mid Isle hosting #2 Lakehill.
The game did not disappoint and Lakehill came out with a 2-0 win to take over top spot in the division.
Lakehill goals were scored by Keegan Lang and Thomas Mallette.
Earning the shutout and having a busy night was Keeper Hardeep Gahunia.
Game Man Of The Match honors went to Lakehill’s Tarnvir Bhandal.

-The last game of the weekend today had Fernwood hosting Vic West, and Vic West came out with a 4-1 win.
Scoring for Vic West & Fernwood were unavailable at release time.

So as we head into the Xmas break, here is how the chase for the Garrison Cup and Division 1 Championship goes.
The big story is Lakehill jumping into 1st place.
Not to be discounted are both Cowichan & Westcastle who have 2 games in hand.
2019 should prove to have some interesting games.
