Here is what we have listed for the VISL Division 1 this weekend.
The Final 3 weeks of league play will obviously be pretty important.
-Friday starts at Hampton Turf where 2 teams that are struggling will meet up.
Gorge will host Fernwood
-Also on Friday, our Game Of The Week as Cowichan host Lakehill.
Big match for both teams as Lakehill look to bounce back after a terrible start to 2019.
Cowichan look to keep moving up and remain in 1st place.
Both teams match up well, should be a good one.
Here are those specific details:
-Saturday is not an off day by any means as Nanaimo Utd host Westcastle at Merle Logan.
Nanaimo looking to stay right up top with the top 4, and with a win, would jump into 2nd place.
Westcastle might have something to say about that as a win of the own keeps them in the hunt for first place.
-In a battle between 2 teams that have looked to turn things for the positive, Bays will host Comox at Oak Bay High.
This will be a battle and Comox is looking to stay undefeated…………in 2019.
Bays still working to having an outside shot at qualifying for Provincial Cup via divisional play.
-The last game of the weekend will be Vic West hosting Mid Isle at Finlayson.
Vic West looking to turn around their season and have some positive stuff going into Jackson Cup.
Mid Isle looking to bounce back after a tough start in 2019 and jump into the top 4 again.
