KAMLOOPS, BC –– The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) registration deadline is fast approaching.
Players who are registered by February 1st are guaranteed a place on a KYSA team for the coming season and have the option of requesting placement on the same team as last year or being moved to another team. Players who register on or before February 1 will also qualify for the KYSA’s early bird registration fees.
The KYSA has made a number of formatting changes for 2018. In the past when 5-12 year-olds registered, the registration fee covered both a Spring and a Fall Season. This year, the association is offering all participants aged 4 to 18 the opportunity to play in the Spring season and players aged 4 to 14 the option to also register in a revised Fall Program. Eligible players who register for both the Spring Season and Fall Program will receive a discount on their registration fees.
The KYSA is also continuing to offer families who register three or more children a 10% discount on their overall registration fees.
Anyone who registers between February 2 and April 1 will be required to pay the full registration fee, which is $25 more than the Early Bird rate. However, the KYSA will only accept player registrations after February 1 on a space available basis.
Parents/players can register their child(ren) on-line at kysa.net or by dropping into the KYSA office on McArthur Island.
General office hours are Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. The office will also be open on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 from 10:00am to 3:00pm both days. The office will also be staffed from 9:00am to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 1st.
