KYSA Women’s Indoor Finals This Weekend

KAMLOOPS, BC – Two of the finals in the Women’s ‘Competitive’ Indoor Soccer Leagues are set to be contested on Sunday, February 28th in the Kamloops Soccer Dome.

The two teams playing in the final of the “Competitive B” Group are the Rebels and Middleton Petroleum. This match is scheduled for 7:00pm.

Rebels defeated Jugs United, 3-0, in the semi-final to reach the championship match. Middleton Petroleum narrowly got by Balls Deep, 3-2, to win the other semi-final.

The two teams who will be meeting in the final of the “Competitive A” Group are the Sweet Mullets and Kamloops Kia. This match is scheduled for 8:00pm

Sweet Mullets were victorious over Ronik, 8-2, in one semi-final, while Kamloops Kia topped Triton, 2-0, in the other semi-final.

Meanwhile, the teams competing in the Women’s ‘Recreational’ Indoor Soccer League are also entering the playoff rounds this Sunday in the Soccer Dome.

4-Star Communications will play Livin’ The Dream to determine who meets United Spirit in one semi-final to be held at 5:00pm. Reccos and Hubz will meet in the other semi-final at 6:00pm.

The winners of the semis will meet in the Recreational League final on Sunday, March 6 at 7:00pm in the Dome.

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association took over responsibility for running the women’s indoor adult leagues last year when the organization took on a management role at the Dome.
