KAMLOOPS, BC –– The finals of the Women’s Indoor Soccer League were held last evening (March 05) at the Kamloops Soccer Dome.
Three division finals were contested and the results were:
Competitive Divisions:
GROUP B
Champions: Metro Reload – 2
Runner-Up: Mighty Schmucks – 1
(Match decided on penalty-kicks)
GROUP A
Champions: Sweet Mullets – 11
Runner-Up: Class of 2017 – 5
Recreational Division:
Champions: Footloose – 5
Runner Up: Lady Balls – 0
A total of 14 teams participated in three divisions over the 2016-17 season, which started in October.
As managers of the Soccer Dome, the Kamloops Youth Soccer Association has acted as league administrators for the women’s adult league for the past three years.
