Vancouver Whitecaps FC have acquired the natural second round selection in the 2022 Major League Soccer SuperDraft and the 25th overall selection in the 2019 MLS Re-Entry Process, Stage 1 from Nashville SC in exchange for the second overall selection of the 2019 Re-Entry Process, Stage 1.

After trading up for the first pick earlier this offseason, Inter Miami CF selected left back Mikey Ambrose. The former Atlanta United player has appeared in 25 matches over his four-year MLS career. He notably started Atlanta’s Eastern Conference Semifinal match against the Philadelphia Union. Miami sporting director Paul McDonough previously acquired Ambrose in Orlando and Atlanta.
