Whitecaps FC reach agreement to transfer Octavio Rivero to Chilean side Colo-Colo – Whitecaps FC
Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday that the club has reached an agreement to transfer striker Octavio Rivero to Chilean side Club Social y Deportivo Colo-Colo. As part of the transfer, Whitecaps FC will receive a percentage of any future transfer fees obtained by Colo-Colo.

The Uruguayan striker is heading to Chile to join club side Colo Colo to bring to an end a strangely dissatisfying spell with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Both Coquitlam Metro-Ford Masters & Classics sides qualified for the Western Canadian Masters Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In all, it was a clean sweep for teams from the VMSL & MWSL.
