Duncan Bates, 14, of Vancouver, got to meet his FC Barcelona soccer heroes on Friday. But the meeting with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez was a small moment of joy in what’s been a difficult August for the teen and his family. Duncan lost his 75-year-old grandfather, Ian Moore Wilson, in the Aug. 17 terrorist attack in Barcelona. His grandmother Valerie Wilson was injured and only just released from hospital.
