Vancouver Whitecaps vs Ottawa Fury FC | Canadian Championship Match PreviewMLS
In order to be able to defend their Amway Canadian Championship title, the Vancouver Whitecaps will first have to dig their way out of a two-goal hole in the second leg of their semifinal against the NASL’s Ottawa Fury FC, following their 2-0 loss in the first leg of the series last week.

Whitecaps likely need a shutout vs. Fury The Province
An away goal for Ottawa could well be the death blow for the Whitecaps on Wednesday. If the Fury score at B.C. Place, the Caps will need four to overcome the North American Soccer League club and avoid an embarrassing exit in this semifinal stage of the Amway Canadian Championship.

Fury eyes major upset over Whitecaps – Toronto Sun
The notion that Ottawa Fury FC could beat an MLS team in a two-game series, that a third-year North American Soccer League team could advance to a Canadian championship, must have seemed far fetched.

Highlanders Caber Toss Pumas – Northern Starting XI
On a blistering hot day in BC’s capital, the Victoria Highlanders took the field against the Kitsap Pumas. The Highlanders had previously been destroyed by the Pumas during their opening match, only to have the result overturned because of Kitsap registering too many over-age players. With the first match having ended as a 3-o blow-out, Sunday’s match would serve as a great measuring stick of how far the Highlanders improved since coming together.
