VISL – Opening Round – Sir John Jackson Cup

-submitted by Vince Greco

The first competition was in the 1914/1915 season – that trophy and competition is still going strong 100+ years later.

Other than a couple war years, the trophy and competition is still the grandest of competitions on the Island for local amateur soccer!

3 entry round games have taken place, we are down to 16 teams looking to make it to the Final so they can hoist the trophy, and also secure a place in BC Soccer’s Provincial A Cup.
