VISL Final Standings & Week 18 Results

-submitted by Vince Greco, VISL

It took all 18 weeks to figure relegation out – a first for Division 1 in many years, but that is the story line from this past weekend as the top half was virtually taken care of.

Comox Vallet Utd did solidify 2nd place, I believe their best ever final standings in Division 1.

Also, Nanaimo put themselves in a potential BC Cup slot as they defeated Bays and Gorge tied VI Wave.

The team in 10th that will be relegated is Lakehill.

The team in 9th that is in the relegation zone is Westcastle. Time will tell if the 2nd place team in Division 2 accepts promotion or if there will be a challenge match by the 3rd or 4th place team in Division 2.

The Final standings – the earliest we have ever been finished in the modern era. (thanks turf fields)
