VISL Division 1- Week 5 Results & Standings

-submitted by Vince Greco

Division 1 – Week 5 Thanksgiving has wrapped up with all games being played according to schedule.

-Westcastle was virtually seconds away from earning a draw vs Vic West as the green & whites scored on the last play of the game to secure the big 3 points.

-Lakehill surprisingly blanked Bays as they are struggling out of the gates this year.

-Comox battle hard vs Gorge but the Division leaders remain unbeaten after a solid outing of their own.

-Nanaimo & Vancouver Island Wave get their 2nd draw each on the early season – will those come back to haunt them?

-Cowichan come down Island and take down a hungry Vantreights squad who are still looking for their 1st points of the season.
