06:00 PM | Comox Valley United – (D1) @ Vic West FC – (D1) | UVIC Turf Field 2A |
-Can Cowichan claim the Division and win their 4th straight Garrison Cup over arch nemesis Bays United ?
Cowichan has been fortunate with a couple results of late, but Bays will need a big effort to stop the yellow and black from celebrating on their home turf.
-Nanaimo is climbing the ladder, while Gorge has slipped a couple rungs. The lads from middle island will look to stay in 3rd place with a win over the black n white squad.
-This next game will be our Game Of The Week. It will be huge for Lakehill should they want to try to earn a BC Soccer Provincial Cup berth. Westcastle is in a great little battle for 3rd place right now. Will they have what it takes to keep the pressure on ??
-Vantreights vs VI Wave will be a game of the 2 teams in the relegation zone. Vantreights will look to build on their 1-1 draw last week vs Gorge, while VI Wave will look for better fortune than their 1-2 loss to Cowichan last week.
-Comox is not clear from the relegation zone yet, and they will have a tough test as they travel down island to play the bolstered Vic West squad. The Valley boys will work hard, but will it be enough to earn points from a very talented VW squad who are looking to keep pace with the division leaders themselves.
Hope to see you at the park supporting local people and local soccer.
