KAMLOOPS, BC –– For the third straight year, the Moreton School Football Academy soccer team from Wolverhampton, England is coming to Kamloops. While in the Tournament Capital, the U18 boys will be playing four Exhibition games: one against the Kamloops Blaze U18s Boys, one against the Thompson-Okanagan Football Club U18 Boys and two matches against the TRU Men’s Soccer Team.

The four games will all take place at McArthur Island Field #6, as follows::

Saturday, July 08 1:00pm vs. TRU Men #2

A consultant with the Moreton Academy team is Mick Murphy, one of the Stoke City FC coaches who will be returning to instruct at the KYSA High Performance Soccer School from August 8-11.

TRU head coach John Antulov will have many of his players in town for a training camp during Moreton’s stay and will use the two games against Moreton as an opportunity to see some of his new recruits and veteran players in game action.

There is no charge for the public to watch any of the games, which, if they are as competitive as they have been the past two years, promise to be skillful and exciting contests.
