Soccer Quest Celebrates 10 Years of Building Soccer in the Kootenay’s

-submitted by Soccer Quest

Soccer Quest this year celebrate 10 years of developing soccer in Nelson and the Kootenays for both Youth and Adults. Over the past 10 years Soccer Quest built the first indoor soccer facility in the Kootenays and is responsible for starting both ladies and men’s leagues for indoor and outdoor programs and of course made the local youth soccer groups a power house in the BC Interior. Over 20 players have moved onto college and university scholarships and 3 players have actually made it to the PDL soccer league and or the Whitecaps residency programs.

Soccer Quest is also responsible for bringing the Whitecaps to the Kootenays plus educating some of the first licensed coaches in the area through BC soccer. Soccer Quest believes in creating the good habits of becoming a top soccer player and focusses a large part of its training with the Golden age groups U9-12 yrs. This training philosophy has brought success to clubs across Canada for years following the players moving up from the 9-12 age groups.

There are special celebratory T shirts issued for our Kootenay summer soccer camps that can be obtained by registering online for our camps at
