The Pacific Coast Soccer League is set to kick off again, with the 2016 season opener this Sunday at UBC’s Ken Woods Field, 4:00 pm. Vancouver United will take on the UBC Thunderbirds a block away from Thunderbird Stadium, where WFC2 will be finishing up their USL match against LA Galaxy II just before kickoff time.
The PCSL provides a good environment for University and Senior players to compete and stay in shape during the summer months. It also provides the highest level of summer competition for players in the BC Interior. You may even see some former and aspiring pros playing amongst their ranks. The six team competing this season are:
- Penticton Pinnacles
- Vancouver United FC
- Kamloops Heat
- Mid Island Mariners
- Khalsa Sporting Club
- UBC Thunderbirds
