The Pacific Coast Soccer League have revealed their plans for the upcoming 2019 season. President Dave Collard announced on the PCSL’s Facebook page that the summer men’s league would feature eight teams, as well as a re-launch of a six-team women’s circuit.
The men’s league lineup for 2019 will include Penticton SC, Kamloops TRU, Okanagan FC, Victoria Highlanders FC, Mid. Isle, FC Surrey United, FC Vancouver Tigers and Khalsa Sporting Club.
The teams announced for the women’s league are Penicton SC, Kamloops TRU, Mid Isle FC, Victoria FC, North Shore SC, TSS A Academy.
While many summer leagues have popped up in the lower mainland over recent years, the PCSL continues to serve as important fitness league for CIS, CCAA and senior league players. It also provides the top level of senior soccer for clubs in B.C.’s interior. The 2019 season is expected to kickoff in May, and runs through late July – early August.
