KAMLOOPS, BC – The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) has announced the signing of yet another new sponsor!
Chopped Leaf has agreed to partner with the KYSA as title sponsor of their Fall Season Wind-Up Jamboree scheduled for September 24/25, 2016, with an option to continue sponsorship of the event indefinitely.
The Fall Season Wind-Up Jamboree is expected to involve 2,300 boys and girls in the U5 through the U12 age groups.
The non-competitive Jamboree takes place on pitches throughout the city with the majority of games being played at Dallas Park where eleven small-sided fields are located.
“I am thrilled to have Chopped Leaf join the KYSA family. Support from our corporate sponsors enables KYSA to provide enhanced programming with no additional cost to our members,” says KYSA President Graham Cope. “We introduced the Fall Season Jamboree two years ago as a great way to end the season for our small-sided teams. It is tremendous to be able to connect a sponsor with the event.”
The Chopped Leaf, a healthy restaurant concept, believes that everyone can live their own “Chopped Life”; a healthy lifestyle in whatever way they choose, combined with high quality nutritious ingredients to keep your body feeling good after you eat. Chopped Leaf’s menu includes chef-designed salads and wraps, soups, sandwiches and appetizers. All the dressings and soups are Chopped Leaf recipes that focus on being natural and flavourful!
Chopped Leaf restaurant owner Brenda Chornohus, who has two locations in Kamloops––one in the North Hills Shopping Mall in North Kamloops and one in the Summit Shopping Centre in South Kamloops––says, “The Chopped Leaf and KYSA go together as well as fitness and nutrition. Starting our youth on the right path to a healthy lifestyle early on can shape their lives forever, and we want to help instil positive eating habits and the benefits of physical activity in them.”
