KAMLOOPS, BC –– BC Soccer has announced the names of the players who have been selected to participate in their third High Performance camps of 2016, which kick-off November 15.
Amongst those who have been chosen are six players who reside in Kamloops and play for the Thompson-Okanagan Football Club in the BC Soccer Premier League, the top youth soccer league in the province.
The Kamloops’ players who have been identified for the HP program are:

The BC Soccer High Performance Program consists of 2-3 age specific programming camps held at various times throughout the year where players are specifically invited to participate based on recommendations from BC Soccer development staff, Whitecaps FC coaching staff, BC REX coaching staff and the technical directors from within the BCSPL franchise clubs. In addition to the camps, throughout the year, BC Soccer is also pleased to facilitate various identification matches with selected players.
Overall, the aim of the BC Soccer High Performance Program is to provide development and identification opportunities for potential selection into Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency (males) and BC REX (female) programming with the ultimate objective of having more players from BC involved in Canada Soccer National Team programming.
