Canadian Women’s National Team goalkeeper Erin Mcleod has teamed up with Fashion Designer Adelle Renaud to launch Caposhie, a new fashion boutique in West Vancouver’s Park Royal Shopping Centre. BC Soccer Web was invited for a sneak peek of their new venture last Thursday.

The goal of the Caposhie is to offer authentic fashion that celebrates individuality and is designed for all body types, women and men. Along with offerings from Renaud herself and Peau de Loup, Erin has lauched her first design under the Motive Athletics label. An accomplished artist herself, fashion design was a bit of a learning curve for Ms. Mcleod, but she was able to carry over some of the fundamentals from her artwork.

Erin was on hand with her Houston Dash teammate and wife Ella Masar, who recently announced her retirement from the NWSL. However, both strongly hinted that there was still more to come in both their professional soccer careers, as European clubs are inquiring about their availability. At 32, Erin Mcleod laughs at questions about retiring as she’s hitting prime time for most goalkeeper’s careers. Erin has amassed over 100 caps for Canada since 2002, and doesn’t look like she’ll be slowing down soon.

Located on Park Royal’s Main Street across from Cafe Artigiano, Caposhie is now open to the public. You can check out their website at www.caposhie.com. To find out more about Erin McLeod’s talents both inside and outside the game, visit her website.
