Former San Jose Earthquakes target Darwin Quintero’s on the market again – MLS
Could Darwin Quintero be on his way to MLS? It is certainly possible. Quintero was one of the players that was not selected during last week’s Liga MX Draft over in Mexico, and is on the market as a result. A possible resolution for the the 29-year-old Colombian attacker, who had been playing for Club America since 2015, could be to make the move north to MLS. Quintero had been linked with the San Jose Earthquakes earlier this year, but nothing concrete ever came of the reported interest.
Marsch suspended for U.S. Open Cup match against NYCFC – SBI
After the Red Bulls completed their penultimate training session before Wednesday’s clash with New York City FC in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup, head coach Jesse Marsch was anticipating the first of four matches in a 10-week period with their cross-river rivals.

‘Birds head to Beijing for prestigious WEUFT World Cup – UBC
The UBC Thunderbirds are heading on an ‘Eastern’ road trip that will see them travel more that 8500 kilometres to play as many as five games over seven days. The ‘Birds are going to take part in the prestigious 2017 WEUFT (World Elite University Football Tournament) World Cup to be played at Tsinghua University in the heart of Beijing. China. Soccer squads from renowned British schools Oxford and Cambridge will take part in the tournament, along with the University of Southern California’s club team, a team from Sydney, Australia and other sides from universities all over Asia.

In his first book, he proves to be a meticulous researcher, a compelling story-teller, and a crafty realist who knows how to hook his readers.
